Community Outreach
|
| There are three key areas that Narconon of Georgia provides support
to the community. These areas are; drug rehabilitation, drug prevention and
support for families of addicts. Over the last year, Narconon of Georgia has
increased its focus on the high- risk youth of the community in an effort to
prevent future drug addiction through courses, which develop study skills and
effective drug education. |

We also work to provide employers,
educators, health professionals, policy-makers and the media with current and
authoritative information concerning drugs and drug abuse. In the last year
Narconon staff members have been major contributors to at least 15 radio shows
and been featured in several publications. Each year Narconon of Georgia
sponsors a drug free rally in honor of red ribbon week. At this rally, Narconon
invites local legislatures, ministers, teachers and othercommunity leaders to
join in our message that with a unified effort throughout the community, we can
combat the drug epidemic.
